Tanya Reed, CFO
Tanya Reed was born in Burlingame, California to a mechanical engineer and a peninsula-area socialite. Tanya was a Rainbow Girl as a child, holding several offices.
Excelling in academia and sports, she was an honored athlete who participated in the Junior Olympics and was invited to participate in the Pan American Games.
Our CFO has had a diverse career - from Science Safety Instructor in California Public Schools to Insurance Defense Negotiator, to Director of Retention, Sales and Ops for one of the largest tech firms in the Bay Area.
Tanya uses her years of success and leadership to build a strong team with a laser-like focus on customer service and technical innovation.
John Reed, Founder
John Reed is a Southern California native and was born into the moving and storage industry.
Reed joined the US Army and served in Fort Knox, Ky, Camp Casey, Korea with the 2nd Infantry Division, 1/72 Armor Battalion and with the 1st Infantry Division, 1/63 Armor Battalion at Ft. Riley, KS. Reed was promoted and became the Tank Commander of an M60 A1 Battle Tank.
In July 1977, Reed was honorably discharged and returned home to Southern California, where he joined Industrial Freight System, Inc. in Sun Valley, CA and spent seventeen years with the company.
With a total of 26 years in the freight business, Reed decided to pursue a career in the furniture transportation industry. It was a business he knew and enjoyed, as well as carried on the family tradition.
